1997 – 2001 Bally Total Fitness Corporation (Formerly Sporex Financial
Systems/T-USA Martial Arts) Operations Manager In July, 2000, T-USA Martial Arts was acquired by Bally Total Fitness Corporation, the largest health and fitness network in the United States. The T-USA Martial Arts group is now developing its program in the Chicago area Bally Health Clubs. Sporex Financial Systems and T-USA Martial Arts, along with its affiliated companies, provided the full spectrum of martial arts services to the consumer and the industry, including student contract financing for 300 martial arts schools across the United States, martial arts schools (12 in Chicago) and martial arts equipment and supplies. n Primary responsibilities at Sporex/T-USA as Controller and Legal Counsel included financial management and reporting for 22 corporate entities, new business and corporate development and expansion, banking relations and real estate management. n Primary responsibilities at Bally Total Fitness as Operations Manager include administrative and operational policy and procedure development, implementation and monitoring, budget preparation, financial analysis and modeling, new club development, marketing, Pro Shop procurement coordination, staff supervision and special events/programs. 1983 –
