group health program with savings of 50% and replacement of 401k plan to improve

reporting, inventory work-up, tax schedules, consolidations, and accounting

financial functions, including product costing. Major accomplishment is the down-sizing of
overhead cost which allowed survival of the LBO. Other accomplishments included modernization
of accounting systems and enhance use of computer system.

the establishment of responsibility accounting.

Major accomplishment was the installation of accounts payable and

and annual operation plan. Implemented a
planning system where different function have
different operating years.
1973 to 1976 The Ansul

a leading fire protection and agricultural chemical manufacturing concern
listed on the NYSE.

Major responsibility was the controllership function.
Financial Analyst, Treasurer’s
Department. Managed cash, managed
corporate insurance program, and monitored and reported employee benefit
plans. Major accomplishments were the
restructuring of the property insurance program to expand coverage and achieve
significant cost reduction and the establishment of a cash flow reporting
system.
1971 to 1973 The
R.T. French Company, Rochester, NY, a major food
manufacturing concern. Accountant. Duties
and responsibilities included lease analysis, payroll supervision, and merger
of assets. Major accomplishment was
implementation of a direct deposit payroll system.
1965 to 1967 Peace Corps, Philippines. Project Planner. Developed plans for industrial subdivision and vocational
training school and participated in development of a planning corp. to aid
provincial development.
